I haven't been to Vegas in ten years, and plan on going next year. What's the best hotel in Vegas. I stayed at the MGM Grand and liked that. I'm looking for a really nice hotel, with a lot of shows and entertainment.

I just came back from Vegas, stayed at Planet Hollywood's Fountain View Room, room is not huge, but is nicely decorated, great view of Bellagio's fountain at night. Uploaded a picture, check it out. Casino had been updated since the Aladdin's days. Rates are better than Paris and Bellagio.

i love vegas! i have stayed on the strip and downtown, (on freemont), and i would rather stay downtown.,,we like the golden nuggget. its been recently and maybe still going under renvoations. the rooms are really nice, and the customer service is great. the casino is huge, and the whole light show is so cool. we like it because you can actually walk to and from several casinos without going a mile! its great if you have a group or some friends, because you can find eachother easier. i also think you win more there.

I live in Vegas and it is growing before my eyes! I would highly recommend the MGM, Bellagio, Monte Carlo, Ceasers, and The Mirage. But who knows by the time you get here their may even be some new ones! The Venetian is very nice too! Change it up a little their are shows all up and down the strip. Believe me vegas doesn't look anything like it did 10 years ago.

I have been there twice and the first time I stayed at the "Mirage" which was nice. However I explored the other hotels and found that if you want class then you may want to check out "The Venitian" or "The Ballagio". I imagine they have more that have been built. If its creativity you are looking for then their is "The Luxor, The Paris, The Excalber", Treasure Island and etc. If you want excitement and the chance to run into someone famous then your best bet is "Ceasars Palace".
