All celebrates by all people using candles are wonderful! Happy Hanukkah to all! It is so convenient to have so many wonderful holidays near Christmas. Our neighbor used to make us a wonderful steamed fish this time of year. She had a special oval pot to serve it in that looked very pretty with her candelabra. I got to bring the dessert! We celebrated her holiday once each year and ours again after. More parties!

My ancestors were Jews from the Netherlands... every few years we combine the two holidays to teach our grandchildren where they came from. I would love to do it more often... but, at least for right now, I am limited in what I can do. I'm working toward next year... Happy Hanukkah to all!
