In America and some other countires outside of Japan catagorize shows like Inuyasha and Bleach as adult shows. their on adult swim, late night in america. In Japan they're kids shows! I also find it funny that adults are so intersted in Naruto and Inuyasha and stuff in America. I hate those kinds of anime shows.

Why do you hate those kinds of anime? On my opinion its the best kind of anime made, their animaton are great in motion. If your an artist I'm sure you'll appreciate it. They have nice stories too.

I like a lot of the animation styles they use, especially bleach, but I think some of the stories/script/characters are kind of cheezy. :/

ok I get your funny. But however anime is very popular here in the U.S. It is not however played as kids shows due to the rating thing which sucks resulting in alot of taping just so the kids can watch it. They have alot of anime society groups where children young and old can join.

I don't think that you can say that a certain anime is for kids and another one for adults because anime is an art for all ages. Yes, it's true that some anime are more violent then others, like blood and gore, violent fights, but that's still not something that may appeal too real. I watch all kinds of anime and the truth is, I've seen few that I would dislike. At first, I too did not like InuYasha, it seemed kind of a childish fantasy, but after I got it's point, I became interested, and I think if you wanted to, you would share my idea. And the truth is that anime does not get what it deserves and that's sad

Its really simple. The Japaneses views on certain things are different then the US views such as against violence and so fourth. Anime like Naruto & Inuyasha are geared towards Teens and adults which is why they like it. When brought to the US they try to set the viewing audience a little lower like pre-teens. But there are anime mostly aimed towards adults, and of course the adult only anime/hentai of course. Anime for kids are more like Pokemon, but most are meant for pre-teens and teens which can carry over to adults.

My daughter and husband are big time anime fans. They love Bleach, Inuyasha and Naruto. I don't see the big deal, but they just love it. My husband is in Iraq right now and he sends my daughter all of the anime videos he gets over there and they share them. I just don't see the big interest honestly!

Just because they're on adult swim doesn't mean that it's for adults. It's like our (America) station called "Nickelodeon". There is "Nick Jr" and "Nickelodeon" and "Nick at Night". Nick Jr is more for the younger kids. Nickelodeon is more for the middle aged kids. Nick at Night is more for adults. However, this doesn't mean that young kids can't watch nick at night or adults can't watch Nickelodeon. The shows on adult swim are obviously cartoons that adults like... not just kids.

I love naruto! there's more to it maybe that is why lots of adult like it too. I think In America Naruto and Inuyasha are not that big time, I think most of like the genre of Full Metal Alchemist. Anyway, about the viewing show, I think its just have some difference in the way people percie e the story. Cartoons in america are way different in the cartoons(anime) of japanse even in comics(manga).

Maybe the audience for bleach and inuyasha is mostly an older one so thats why they play them later. I don't actually watch anime myself but I have many friends who do. One of my friends is really into Naruto. I watched it once just to see what it was about but it wasn't great. I mean if someone was watching it I could watch and stay somewhat interested, but I wouldn't choose to watch it myself.
