Anyone tried the Shichida or glenn Doman flash cards on their babies? Was told that it helps in promoting their memory, their willingness to learn as it helps stimulate their brain. I'm not sure whether that's true, anyone has any idea?

Hello, I am developing an online flashcards site based on Glenn Doman's work. I have 66 sets available so far. I have been using them with my 2-year-old since she was about 18 months old. She was an early talker anyways, but I think the flashcards have helped her to master many common words faster. Also they are exposing her to lots of new concepts that she would not normally be exposed to at this age. Plus, she loves them. She is constantly asking for "flashcards", and within the last week or so has mastered using a 1-button mouse to navigate the site. I was told by a friend that her baby didn't care for them much at 9 months, but I showed them to the same baby at 14 months and he seemed to be catching on. Of course, my daughter was being possessive and kept trying to take over, so I couldn't be sure! The flashcards are free, so please try them with your baby or toddler at http://mooneleaf.com/flashcards

I have a beautiful handicapped child who is now 27 years old. He was unable to talk up to 6 years old. He could use only one word and never put words together. He could say hi or ma ma but never together. I read Glen Domans book and sent for the flash cards. I used them on a trip we went on (6 weeks) by the time we returned he was talking!!! It was still baby talk but after that he began to roll off sentences like crazy. He was 7 years old. He has a gifted memory and I bless mr. Doman for his work. Mom of Adam R.
