When it rains heavily ....

I just stepped out of office to find that it suddenly pour super heavily. I decided not to get drenched and turned back into office. By doing this, I am going to miss class for today. No big deal, you may say. I think so too but at least I get a chance to login here. LOL.
What I am interested is "Will you travel as planned" when it suddenly rains? Or will you wait for the rain to stop? I know there are people who leave the office despite the rain, but wait for even a drizzle to stop when reporting for work. Make sense, I know :P
What is your usual habit? Be it :-
- leaving office for home OR
- leaving home for work OR
- leaving for meals OR
- leaving to meet someone, OR ......
as long as it is stepping out from a sheltered place into the embrace of a heavy rain?
Kindly share your experience. Thank you.

It is a holy BIG deal! You are such a bad student! You skipped class just to myLot? I must ask teacher to cane you lol.:PPP
So, will I travel as planned if it rains. Well, this would depend on how important the destination is. If I am due to meet someone, then rain or no, I would go. Otherwise if it is just some errands, I might just postpone them if the rain is too heavy. Or if they are not too urgent.
I won't ask for the rain to stop unless it is something important. Will the rain listen to me anyway? :P

haha.. .well if I didn't go anywhere when it started to rain heavily I wouldn't ever leave my house! Where I live, Vancouver, is very rainy all the time. I have a car so usually it isn't bad. Usually if I'm not taking the car I bundle up in a warm coat and take an umbrella with me.
There are always sometimes where I just have to venture out and get wet.

Rain? Yay, Runs out and dances around in it weeeeeeeeee! .. Dances all the way to school in it, walks in proud drenched from head to toe, as I look at all the people with tiny sprinkles of wet on them, and call them all.. Weather wimps! I am proud to brave the elements...
uh oh you mean there is lightning.. Dances for two seconds, Sees a flash.. then runs as fast as I can !... :) ... I am a lightning rod.. been hit 8 times now..
So that is what I do :) - DNatureofDTrain

I don't like going out when it's raining pretty fast, although sometimes I do. It's not really because of the coldness or rain except for the fact it effects my head. (most days like it I'm ill)
Avoid it most times though, the rain can be a beautiful thing though.

haha, that's a good one, leaving the office despite the rain, but waiting for even a drizzle to stop when reporting for work.
personally i will walk in the rain. if it's too heavy i will just wait it out or buy an umbrella if i need to get someplace urgently.
if it's heavy but just a traffic light crossing away, I will wait for the lights to turn in a sheltered area and then dash across.
the best policy is to be armed with an umbrella always these days. :)
