What attracts you to an article ?!? is it the subject or the content ??

When i look at mylot articles I see a wide range of responses among these articles , honestly some articles look silly to be responded but it still have a large number of responses !! what really attract you to any article ? is it the wired subject on the begining or do you read the contetnt then decide to respond or not ??? OR do u always respond to those articles made by your friends ?!?!

It would be the subject first then the next thing that i would be looking at is the first paragraph of the article. From these two I would then decide whether to continue reading or not.

I will read the whole article if I like what I see on the main page. If it looks dumb i will not read it or waste my time.

The title of a discussion draws me to read more. Then the small section of the discussion that I can see from the front page makes me determine if I want to open that subject or not. From there I usually respond to a discussion. I don't always respond to my friend's discussions, but I do try to respond to the ones that I have the notify turned on for.

i think what makes me decide whether i will respond or not is the subject matter. if the subject is interesting, then i read it, then i respond accordingly. basically i have a diverse interests so it is not really difficult for me to get interested in a subject. anything that is worth-reading will get a response from me.

when scrolling through mylot i always look at the subject first. if it sounds like it's good i'll go to it and read it and then i'll usually post on it. but i've seen quite a few strange discussions with a bunch of responses as well. i don't get it! haha.
