Ebay sellers be careful when you are listing!!!!

This morning I made 3 listings on ebay and noticed something very strange. When I was picking the options the one for a Bold listing was checked off which would have meant the listing costing me another $1. Not an investment I wanted to make so I unchecked it. I went on to do my next listing and found it checked again! This happened 3 times so I'm wondering if ebay may be experiencing a glitch that is going to cost the sellers money.
So, a word to ebay sellers today....watch carefully when you are listing for checks on options that will cost you money but you don't want or need.

Ebay has been acting goofy for the last few weeks. I wonder if they are moving servers or something. Before listing an item I always look at the charges on the bottom of the page.

I think you should start looking before you get to the end where the charges are. If there is a problem you will probably be charged and not be able to fix it.

Before you submit the listing at the bottom of the second page (or the bottom of the main page if you are using their new listing process that is in beta testing) - right above the submit listing button - there is always a summary of charges. You are not charged anything until you actually submit the listing.

My mother -in-law works on Ebay, selling and purchasing. I may make a mention of this to her, perhaps it is a glitch in the Ebay system. You may want to notify Ebay and tell them of the problem. It could just be an error. Or just another way to get money out of the sellers.

There seem to have been a few glitches on eBay lately, and with the PayPal site too. If it continues, I would contact them and see what is going on

Are they doing a special of some kind involving bold listing? Just wondering, becasue back in September they were doing free listing for items starting under $9.99 if you did a gallery photo. It automatically selected the gallery photo for every listing that I did.
Of course, it could also be a glitch.

Thanks for the heads up ctry. I've had this happen to me before and they wouldn't correct it for me and remove the charge. They are not very forgiving about mistakes that you make when they are making a profit from it.
