It seems to take me forever to fall asleep. I toss and turn for atleast an hour. My significant other is out as soon as his head hits the pillow. How long does it take you to fall alseep? What do you do to help yourself fall asleep?

When I didn't work, and when I quit working, I started having this problem, also!
And what it is, I think a person just has too much on his mind, or just plain worrying!
Because when I have a good day(which is rare anymore) or when I make a considerable amount of money, I'm happy and relaxed, and I don't have any trouble sleeping!
When I was still driving, and it was time to sleep, and I wasn't sleepy, I would try and watch TV, and that made me sleepy!

I seem to have a problem shutting off my mind when I go to bed. I have started taking Tylenol PM to make me sleepy. I ran out of that and bought some generic unisom today. I figure it is the same but without the liver unfriendly acetaminophen.
It irritates the daylights out of me that my husband falls asleep so fast and then snores. Sometimes, I wake him up just so I am not alone.

Oh that makes me so mad!! I just lay there and can never go to sleep and when I'm about comfy and about asleep he starts snoring really loudly and wakes me up!!! I try to relax with a book and get all my tomorrow thinking done when I'm out in the living room right before I go to bed. I still usually sit there for an hour but it's all I got. Sorry!
