What were They Thinking?

Have you seen something on the news lately or heard something from someone you know that was so stupid, weird, or insane that made you wonder just what the heck someone was thinking!
This happened to me when Al Gore won the Nobel Peace Prize- I just thought what the hell was the Nobel Commitee thinking? Are there better people to give that prize too?
There's my example- does anyone else have one?

Skinny. A friend of mine posted a really good discussion about Al Gore wining the Nobel Peace Prize and nobody replied to it. That was so stupid of them. It was a really bright and intelligent discussion that just begged for response. Fortunately, just one person did because they thought it was a point worth making. Can't remember who right now.

Thanks for helping me get rid of this one. Yeah, this was one call that the nobel people shouldn't have made.
