Taxi problem the result of 3 deadly sins

Taxi Stand during peak hours. - This is a typical scene during peak periods like nearing the closing hours of shopping centers and after work rush hour.
With the queues being constantly there for a good 3-4 hours each evening, there is no reason why cabbies are grumbling about shortage of customers.

taxi, singapore, queue, stand, closing, hours I read this article written by Yawning Bread and found it hitting the nails right on on all counts! You can read the article here -- http://www.yawningbread.org/arch_2007/yax-812.htm His analysis of the situation is so right on the spot! I really hope the people at the top are able to see it and do something about it. But then again, what can they do but raise the issue as a way of saying, "See, I raised the issue in parliment. Now it is up to the top to do something." Sigh~~~ as long as no one with the power to do something is willing to step up to the mantle and right the situation, we are going to have to live with the same problem year after year, with cost rising with each passing year.
