In my perspective, Jac, Mike and Mau will clash for the title. But I havent heard the other three countries sang, aside from their native language and it's too early to judge. I hope so that this Idol competition will make a strong tie between Asian countries ( contrary to what happened in the World Idol where most people was dismayed of the result ). Fremantle should have think first of the format of that International competetion.

What I love about Philippine Idol, when it was aired here in our country, that this tv program did not show any biased among its contestants. Supposedly, Mau is only a wild card entry in the competition. During that episode, the last slot for the Final 12 was about to be announced and she is one of the girsl are on spot light. When the host of the show asked her what does she feel during that time, she answered in a joke manner that Philippine Idol is not a singing competition, but rather a beauty contest. And the audience laughed on her joke. She felt hopeless during that moment and we understand why she said that sarcastically since the other woman, to admit has looks compared to her. She was then surprised when the last slot belongs to her and she did cry and afterwards apologized for that incident. Even in the Finale ( Final 3 ) of the show, her first two (2) songs received negative comments from the three judges, even the judges said among themselves that the first Philippine Idol will be a male, which she felt downgraded again. But miracle as if it came, her third song - Try it on My Own, had the longest standing ovation among the audience in the Big Dome. Even I will admit that that performance gave me goosebumps when I watched the Finale during that time. Hope our Mau wins. hehehe.
