My mother is my first teacher, she taught me how to talk, how to walk, how to feed myself, how to cook, and the list goes on and on....But for some people it could be your daddy or grandma or teacher from school....who is your first teacher...tell your story here and let us share in your fond memories of your first teacher....

My great-grandmother was my first teacher. She taught me spiritual and religious things, but that's not the main reason I say she was my first teacher. The thing she taught me that was most valuable was this: kindness exists. That early in my life all I knew was cruelty and pain, because of abuse from my family members, so I say that my great-grandmother was my first teacher because she taught me not only that kindness existed (with her own kindness) but that I too had choices about whether to be kind or cruel. And that making my own choice was power, a power that at that time I didn't have physically or in any other way. So she was my first, and best, teacher.

Aww she sounds like a sweet heart. I am happy that you had at least one good loving family member with you in your younger years when you were being abused.....Those abuser will get there just desserts from GOD....mine did and they are still alive because GOD is merciful and wants to give them the opportunity to repent......

My first teacher was Ms. Nilda Lazarito. She was my kindergarten teacher. The most memorabl thing I remember under her class was when she put a tape on my lips for being too talkative and was asked to stand on the corner of another classroom. But I love her. I mean, she asked me to participate in our graduation presentation. :)
