hello friends, i am so happy today, i just purchase a pc for personal use and has just finish installing the operating system last night, and since i have no internet connection at home, i tried to use my mobile phone as a modem, its just a trial and i feel very glad since it works,.
the wonder of technology right!

hi there! congrats on your PC..we're also aiming to buy one as a gift to ourselves this Christmas..hopefully we could..if not,that's ok,we still have next year to save some more.
I was just wondering,would that work for a prepaid subscriber too?

I wanted to try that since i don't have interenet connection at home yet... how was it?... was is as fast as dsl or as slow as dial-up?... is there extra charge on the part of your cellphone provider?...
I hope it will be cheap because smart cost like 10 pesos per 30 minutes but the connection is very slow...

a bit better than dial up, its around 482 kbps i guess. i use globe so maybe globe is better than smart in terms of browsing speed, yes there's a charge but i still dont know how much did they charge me since i am a postpaid subscriber. i'll see it when i recieve my bill then i will inform you. :)

Indeed, technology has many wonders. Your amazing experience could certainly be considered as a good testament to such. I could only feel how overwhelmingly elated you may have been when your mobile phone wonderfully worked as an effective modem.
