Christmas Decorations

Do you put Christmas Decorations up in your home or even outside as well and if so have you already got them in place.
Most of my friends have already got their christmas tree up with fairy lights and all the works. People here in the UK and not putting lights up outside their houses this year at all, in other years they have, but have still gone to town inside.
I always put my decorations up around the 16th and not before as it was a tradition in our family to do it on my mum's birthday

There are people around here that have their Christmas lights up outside. I haven't done anything on the outside for years. And in the last several years have only put up a little Christmas tree, without much decoration inside my home. I'm not even sure if I will do that this year, since I am the only one in my home now, and I'm not home to much these days.

I think I would feel the same if I was on my own
although the children have grown and left home I still have my dh

When we lived in town we always put up the outside lights. Now that we live in the country we have only the lights that adorn our front window. I miss an elaborate light display.
