This type of question would go into the precept of the existance of an exterior God. As the only God that I believe in is the interior God that lives in each of us. But going on the idea of an exterior God I would have to say no. See God is not to be mocked nor chalenged and God is out of the creation stage since day 7. Since day 7 God has simply worked with what was already made. There is no existing record that god has created anything since the 7 days of creation. Since he would, as he has since the 7 days of creation, work with what is already created then there would be no way as the entire whole of existance is already "IN HIS HANDS". I hope that this has answered your question and I await your reply! Have a great day!!!

U have a different belief of GOD. The GOD that i believe in has made everything. So it hasnt really answered my question and i am not actually looking for an answer just wanted to see other ppl ideas. But i like what u said about not challenging GOD. Yeah this is challenging question to nature and GOD but im not really looking for an answer i have a blind faith in GOD. Just wanted to see what other ppl feel about this question. but thanx for ur reply :)

See that is the God that I was talking about. God MADE (as in past-tense) everything in the 7 days of Creation given in the Bible, koran, Torah, etc. Since the days of creation God has made nothing new and has only manipulated what is already in existance (he had already made). Ecclesiastes 1:8-10 (New International Version) 8 All things are wearisome, more than one can say. The eye never has enough of seeing, nor the ear its fill of hearing. 9 What has been will be again, what has been done will be done again; THERE IS NOTHING NEW UNDER THE SUN. 10 Is there anything of which one can say, "Look! This is something new"? iT WAS HERE ALREADY,LONG AGO; IT WAS HERE BEFORE OUR TIME. ((capitalization myown) See the accepted all knowing and all powerful God is out of the Creation game and simply uses what is available and with all things being in his hands already there would be no way to make something he could not lift since he is the same today, tomorrow and forever meaning that his character does not change nor does his word. I hope that this has clarified the situation at hand. HAVE A GREAT DAY!!!

Yes friend! To understand this question, just please think that man has built so many things and structures those man can not lift. But man operates many other supporting systems to lift or move them! So also we may visualize that God can make, move and lift any form of creation, not only stones but also anything that we may think. Is it not a sufficent example to see that God keeps on lifting and moving this entire universe containing uncountable stars and planets with the force of 'Gavitation'? A small thing can lift manythings but not everything. But according to you as well as me also, if God can do everything, then it is obvious that God can lift everything! Thanks for this philisophical discussion.

Thats what the question is if he can do everything can he make a rock that he cannot even lift. If he can lift everything which means he cannot make a rock that he cannot lift. And if he can make a rock that he cannot even lift, Why cant he lift it when he can do everything?

I'm not GOD, so I don't know how He would think if He had to answer this question.....for me, I think He can make a rock that He can't lift; and if people actually mock GOD saying that He can't do everything since He can't lift the rock, He will lift it for them to see..... PS: Theoretically, that is not possible since it will go against GOD's holy nature, since He would have lied if He said that He couldn't lift the rock at first and lifted it afterwards....so, ummm....no comments.... =P
