I am buying presents for my nephews - just kids, the older is 13. An action figure, a mp3-player and an educational card game for a 3-yrs old boy. What are you buying? To whom? Do you like most to give or receive the goodies?

I really love to buy gifts. I prefer to give then to receive :) I bought gift to my boyfriend, his parents, his brother, my sister-in-law, my mom and my brother. I also bought small gifts to the people I work with. The biggest gift I bought this year was to my brother, but my grand-mother have paid with me. WE bought a black micro-wave.

I'm buying presents for my friends and relatives. For my friends, I'm planning to give them clothes, accessories, stationery and cute stuffed animals. For my younger relatives, probably toys, DVDs and video games. Older relatives, I'm not too sure, maybe gift cards or something so they can pick what they want? I like giving presents to people, seeing their happy expressions make me happy as well, but I'd be lying if I didn't like receiving presents as well.

Lots of shopping to do, lol, gift cards are a good idea just don't feel like a present. DVD's, toys, games, everybody loves it or they wouldn't be the favorites of the season, right? ;) I am thinking of a card made of recycled paper saying Here it your gift ... a better planet lol lol

Sadly was forced to give each of my spouse family a Christmas gift . Instead of drawing names where each draws a name so each receive one nice Christmas present. Sadly now get a bunch of unwanted gifts they have no need etc ...But at least I did try to pick out gifts from my heart for each one.Plus separate ladies from man gifts. So I receive a A for effort all I can say.

That's sad ... giving people to everyone ends up like this ... cheer up at least it was fun to find out what to give or who would give you what. The present itself is more a touch of affection than the utilitarian side. Happy season.
