How much do you need to earn?

How much money do you need to earn a month in order to live the lifestyle you are accustomed to? I would like to earn as much as possible of course. But I think I could live on $2000 a month. Now if I move to a different city then I may need to earn more. I am not sure but I think the cost of living where I live is pretty cheap compared to other cities around the world.

Not sure by what you mean by 15-20k. But I too could live a pretty good life if I were earning 10,000 a month. Maybe not real luxurious unless I could figure out a way not to pay the tax man. LOL

How many peso are equal to one dollar of American money? I often wonder that about other countries. Do you know?

The lifestyle I'm accustomed to includes basically being broke all the time. So it doesn't take much to do that. :P My husband and I between us make less than $2000 a month, and we have all the necessities (heat, food, water, a roof, internet!), but I would love to make a little more so that I could pay off my debt, buy a house, have more money to save for my child, things like that.

At least you have the main necessities. I think we would all like to earn more, that is why we are here. Have a great day and thanks for posting!

I would need to make a lot oh God I live on the east coast, where you can smell the ocean from your house. Yeah I need an arm and a leg. But I guess it can be done by one person since my husband does it himself. I am a stay at home mom, but do you know how good I could live if I earned a extra 2000 a month.

I am sure living on the east coast is extremely expensive. I would love to live there myself, or just about anywhere warm. An extra 2000 a month would make a big difference for all of us. Thanks for posting and have a great day!

My husband is in the military and we recently just moved. We went from living down in Texas right next to the boarder to Washington state next to Seattle. The cost of living is so crazy diffrent. Down in Texas we could have easily afforded a nice home. Here in Washington no way in Hell-0 could we afford one on what he makes. It's nuts!!!

Kind of odd how you just move to a different city but in the same country and there is such a big difference in the cost of living. P.S. I hope you weren't harmed by the terrible floods that just went through Washington. Thanks for posting and have a great day.

To earn! A good question. I start to think deeply how the things around are giving to me the real view. We need but not all are good for us.
