Is Sonia Gandhi's foreign origins a dead issue?

I think so. because she successfully led the congress party led coalition to victory in the last general elections. Besides it is no longer emotive issue which other parties can use against her. as she has proved her worth as a true leader and a nationalist and proud indian. besides she is admired by both classes and masses of India for declining the post of prime minister which she deserved. So it is time everyone to realises it is a dead issue. what do you think?
