Wagering on Games of Skill vs On-line Gaming

A gaming website, win-uVme.com, soon to launch early next year has a business model based upon wagering on "Games of Skill", such as board games, or flash computer games similar to Bounce Out or Knock Out, and puzzle games such as Suduko. The site combines a social network with gaming for a very interactive competative atmosphere. You can play for free of course but you can also wager anywhere from fifty cents to two dollars. The winner taking 75% of the combined wager the loser getting nil. These games are considered "Games of Skill" and therefore do not fall under the Gambling laws enforced in the United States and other countries. I personally have had a chance to test the games and I think they are great! I don't have a problem with the wagering as the site is only open to members 18+ and in my opinion think betting a few cents makes it all the more fun. What I was wondering however is if anybody out there feels this is the same as Gambling Online? Do you think this company may be taking advantage in a tiny loophole in the gambling laws? If so do you agree with me and think it is okay, since it is an adult site or should stricker laws be set in place determining the fine line of Gambling and Wagering on "Games of Skill"?

I don't think this is the same as online gambling but in some ways I think it's worse. I think a site like that could be very addictive, even more than other online gamling sites. It's a great concept tough, can't wait to check out the site. When does it open?
