When you are out and about shopping, do you go to the toy aisle? do you play with the toys? *Push here *pull there *Squeeze my toe *Try me do you do it to see if you can tolerate the noise it makes or because it entertains you, hehe. Or do you resist going to the toy aisle all together? I rarely go to the toy aisle, but I do check to see if noise level is tolerable (of course the big stores drown out much of hte sound and when you get it home it is so much worse! my husband, however, loves to go to the toy section and when we are at the store together he says, okay see you later, I'me going to the toy section! I suspect he plays with as many of the toys as he can... guess he is younger at heart than I am.

As a result of all the recent recalls, I am staying away from toys this year. LOL Nope I dont push or pull but my husband does. It makes it easy to find him. LOL

I go to the toy aisle because we now have grandkids and I want to see what is fun and would make good gifts. When our kids were small I rarely went into that section of the store when I had the kids with me. It was considered a disaster area in my mind. Knew what would happen.

you are right about disaster area...one of my peeves is parents who allow their kids to free range in the toy aisles while they are elsewhere in the store... the toys are not qualified supervisors of the children! at our local store the toy aisle is right next to the outdoor garden center - easy place for a hoodlum to sn@tch up a kid or two :(

I would also be concerned about the outdoor garden being in the vicinity of the toy aisle. Could really be dangerous.

I work in a store that sells toys. I love trying each of the toys as we put them out. I hate straightening up that aisle though! Whew it stays a mess! When I am with my daughter I will wander around trying things out while she looks around her favorite sections. They have some really cool toys! I never go there if she is not with me unless I am looking for her a gift.

I could not imagine how difficult it must be to keep the toy section tidied up!

I have not checked out the toy isle in years. I think the next time I go to wal-mart, I am going to go and be a kid again. My boys went from toys streight to electronics. LOL
