When looking for patterns do you guys find it hard to find diffrent patterns for sweaters and such? It seems like if you want really good patterns or diffrent ones you should be a knitter. Or am I just not looking at the right places? Are there any good books that you guys have or could recomend? I dont' just want to crochet blankets ya know.

I myself have had to resort to EBAY for finding patterns that I want since two of my favorite magazines are no longer being published(i'm a dollie freak,LOL).You can find downloadable e-books for just a couple of dollars. You would also be surprised how many books you can find at a thrift store for super cheap prices. What do you like to crochet?

My crocheting style is just like my craft style. I like everything. I like to make blankets but there's only so many of them you can have around your house you know. I enjoy the work of dollie's. I like to make slippers and barbie clothes and baby clothes. And pretty much anything under the sun!

I find that crochet lends itself to making up patterns as you go along. Because you can work oin any direction, its moreflexible than knitting so I usually just start and see what it turns into. Just add bits until its the right shape and design. I reckon thats why there arent many crochet patterns, you don't really need them.
