okay when i start or respond to discussions my number (523) is skipping a number...it was 515,then 517, then 519 and so on.... whats up with that? is this happening to anyone else? thanks!

It does that sometimes. Its either the calculation or threads being deleted (or readded). I don't know the full story but it is a good guess. Plus we are getting close to the 24 hour mark so some extra checking of threads and responses is being done I bet.

Yeah it will most likley be fixed, i dont wanna be "cheating" the system and even though it wasnt my fault you know... iw ould liek to keep my post amounts correct caus i get excited when i meet a certin amount, i kinda challenge myself with how many post i set a number and try to reach it:D... thanks for responding:)

If you post really quickly then the computer takes a few minutes to catch up and will skip numbers it does that to mine all the time.

Variations in the number happens due to the corrections they are making at mylot. If a post is abusive or if it is against mylot policy, then it gets deleted and along with it, all the responses also gets deleted. At this time the changes do take place. Once I completed some 10,000 posts. Next day morning it was 9995 posts only. 5 posts might have got deleted , because the discussion topic of someone who has posted is gone.
