Arsenal slipped up again and lost of Boro 1-2. Are Arsenal going off the pace or is it because they are missing Fabregas, Hleb and Flamini!! The lead at the top is now cut down to a solitary point and from here on Man U, Chelsea and Liverpool would be close on heels of Arsenal. The season really seems to have opened up completely!! What's your views? Cheers! Ram

hello! I think that with very young players Arsenal can not win the premier league or champions league.I take a look around last year...and the best team is A.C. Milan...with half team over 32 years old.I think a players play much better at 27-30 years old . Personal I think Arsenal will lose a lot of players to other clubs like Madrid,Barcelona..Milan..etc

I agree experience is quintessential to win big trophies. But, even then the performance from the gunners till now has been excellent. It is only after the Sevilla loss that they have begun to totter a bit. I am just hoping they can recover their silken touch, now that their players are beginning to come back from injuries. Cheers! Yep, I myself felt very bad, but on the given performance that was the right result. It seemed that Arsenal simply did not turn up for the match!! Cheers! Ram

Arsenal lost mainly due to tatics and a major lack of fitness. "fatigue" played a major part of the roll, they looked jagged and middlesbrough was all over the place putting in tackles and coming away with the ball. After the penatly was awarded, they just seemed to give up. The subs which came on added a spark and at times before that point arsenal played quite smart passes but it's not the end of the world. We've lost 1 game, they get the form back and get back on track. :) ~Joey

I hope they bounce back. But, the passing at times was woeful especially in the first half. And you are right the spark was missing and fatigue seemed to have taken the toll. But, I do not see any rest coming up as the hectic Christmas season is about to kick off!! Cheers! Ram

Last night's shock defeat by Arsenal to Middlesbrough at Riverside stadium must be the worst performance by the Gunners this season. Without Francesc Fabregas and Alexander Hleb who were both injured, the Arsenal midfield just seems lost. Gilberto Silva and Lassana Diarra both been overwhelmed by spirited Middlesbrough midfielders. Strikers Emmanuele Adebayor and Eduardo Da Silva both been left isolated without service from the midfielders. It seems that the injury problem has taken its toll to the Gunners with only one win from the last 4 matches (Premier League and Champions League). I expected sooner or later Arsenal unbeaten league record will be smashed but I didn't expect the team to lose it to a team from the bottom tier. With the other unbeaten team previously Liverpool also get beaten this weekend, the title challenge is wide open now.

If Liverpool win their next match, the top four teams would be separated by just 4 points!! That is how close the title chase is this year. I think with both Silva and Diarra being defensive minded players, the flow did not seem to be there at all with Arsenal. As you rightly mentioned, this was definitely the worst showing this season by Arsenal. Let's see what the Professor now does to the team!! Cheers! Ram

i can see that arsenal is facing an injury crisis at the moment. but that is not an excuse for the slip up. it seems that player like gilberto silva and co. are really still not up to mark yet.

Yes, the passing in the match was woeful. Most of the passes went directly to the Boro players. Up front, they did not look their usual penetrative as well. I think the injury toll is beginning. I think the December period is going to decide whether they or Man U are going to clinch the title this season. Cheers! Ram
