Do you think your vote will count or change anything for the better? For the worse?

If a Democrat wins there could be some significant changes as long as congress keeps its majority. But if a Rpublican wins with a Democratic congress it will be a stale mate. Atually Bush is the first President in along time to make a lot of changes. But then he was able to get away with a lot of things when folks weren't looking too close because of the horror of 911! To give you a straight answer--My vote has never counted. I have never ended up voting for a winning presidential candidate yet. Yeah I always end up voting for the looser and I am sure I will this time too.

Voting is important. I'm glad you still intend to vote. at this point,I know alot of people feel its pointless, or hopeless. These last 8 years have made me wonder too. Look at it this way, at least you will have done something.

Thanks for Best Response! My Birthday is in the first week of Nov. My 18th birthday landed on election day. I was able to register early and vote on my 18th birthday and have voted ever since. I cannot break the cycle now. I even voted absentee ballot for my hometown when I was stationed overseas. Happy New Year! Shalom,Adoniah

Of course they tell us that our vote will count but I don't believe that. I never believe that my vote will make any kind of difference in the elections.

It is sad. More and more people are feeling that way. I hope something or someone happens soon to change that. I dont care. We have the right to vote. Even when I feel that way(and I more than occasionally do) I will still vote. Some day I know I'll be glad I did.
