How excited do you get about your local sports teams?

I am familiar with the local teams, ctry, but that's about the extent of my enthusiasm for local sports. The only sport I really get excited about is basketball-specifically the NBA. I don't get to see many games until playoff season, however, because I don't have cable TV. I became a fan back when many of their games used to be broadcast on network TV.

I know that there are a lot of sports fans out there,and i respect that.i have friends that are into sports and especialily some of my family members..As for myself i have never been interested in sports, i have tried to like them,i have watched them with others and thats about it.I have always hated the days when the ball games was on, i dreaded that so i would find something else to do.My husband started that when we married he told me i was going to watch the ball games with him, i laughed and told him ,"Mister You are on you on" he does watch them sometimes,but not me. i do know the names of some of our home teams but only because i see it on caps and T-shirts...We have "The Houston Texans" oh and the "Rockets" but thats about all i know..My Mom hated ball too and my step dad loved the games.I could go see her or call her on the phone and she would say Oh that dad gum ball game is on haha..We would just leave ans go shopping and let the men watch it...

I live in Minnesota. And I hate all "our" pro sports teams. I am a devote Detroit fan. Red Wings, Pistons, Tigers, Lions, UofM etc. HAPPY POSTINGS FROM GRANDPA BOB !!~

I am not into football much and we do watch a bit of basketball as my husband is a huge fan but I am more into the kiwi teams like the All Blacks (rugby) and Silver Ferns (netball) - now I do go crazy in front of the tv when I watch these teams play LOL I find myself screaming at the tv often haha
