Does anyone have teenagers? I have three teenagers. Two girls and one boy. I also have two younger boys that are 10 and 8 yrs old. I don't have any problems except they don't want to do any chores. Does anyone have any advice to help me so that it would make it fun or not so horrible for them to do their chores? Thanks, iamom35

As a former young adult, and a very rebellious argumentative teenager all i can say is give them incentives. As with any human, we do not work without the prospect of something in return so the same applies to chores. Telling them they have "a responsibility" "makes your parents feel better" or anything along those lines simply makes them put on their ipod and drown your voice out. The best thing is money. Give them 5 bux, 10 bux to take out trash or what not. This is costly but its a prime example, one that will work without fail, at less your children have a trust fun, or they suck or weed money out of you in another fashion. Play with these incentives offer other things of relevance to them but other than that nothing works. I have ignored all of the possibilities except for that. Lastly especially when they are in their late teens, avoid the ..."ill take something away from you routine, or deny you something" that infuriates them into more disobedience than ever. Good Luck.
