Don't you just hate it when idiots group up and form a smart plan of "attempting" to smash a broken window further more?
Earlier today, I found myself thinking about this. It's amazing how some people have no respect for other people and what appears to be fun to them, to me seems childs play. (actually that's insultive towards children)... So i'm sitting watching tv, jake and kate are closest to the window (only fools and horses is on) and then all of sudden a great big "big... smash"
Strangely enough I dashed straight outside to confront anyone outside and they're wasn't anyone? I head back in, shutting the door behind me then an whole bunch of marons run down the pathway.!.!?!?!?!
What's your thoughts on things like this? have an horror story?
I was that pissed about this, I would of gotten the police out quicker but that wouldn't be a good reason. (we're fine though...)

Well well, the kids here don't normally do such things. It is not that they don't play pranks but they don't go around breaking into houses or just the windows.
If such things happen to me, I guess I would be irritated the hell out of it like you too.:P

Hi my friend. Trouble is we live in a lawless society, if you rang the police they may have got out tomorrow, next day will do, so don't rely on them! If you go and tackle them yourselves they'll set upon you like a pack of rabid animals or worse stick a knife in you. You'll be rushed to casualty and they'll get away with it, even if they do get caught they know full well they'll just get a caution. It's a growing trend which won't get any better in fact it'll get worse, innocent folk are imprisoned because they are too scared to go out and the ones that do are set upon. We are expected to swallow it. Sorry for the rant but this makes me angry too! But what do you expect from our government who's main interest is to protect the guilty and persecute the innocent. The justice system needs changing before it's too late, if it isn't already!

Hey Brian,
Oh we called the police after visiting two of our neighbours if they seen anything, although none of them did and we only suspect "who" might have something to do with it. They failed it and gave us a crime number, also offered to come out if anyone was scared? erm... didn't try searching the area to see if any groups was roaming though, so I guess provention isn't that important.
I fully agree buddy, I remember as a kid they did more and the police was actually some "use". now they don't do anything until after and that's not always much either.
Thanks buddy

Well, firstly, I can say good for you Joey. Glad you tried to catch those hoodlums..Sorry that you did not catch them. I think some people; especially kids, have too much time.. very little guidance and perhaps were seeking attention..which perhaps they are not getting enough of at home.

Well it's probably best I didn't. =)
I think you hit the nail on the head, back when I was a kid it wasn't something that was all that common but now parents are giving more and more freedom. It's a case of when is it too much?
Thanks for your response :)

Oh we contacted him after the police, he hasn't gotten back in contact with us but least it's been fixed now.
I'm sure jake would of loved to be my tag team partner, sadly I think they we're girls so I'd need someone like kate to take care of that... lol ~Joey

I hope it was not your window that was smashed. I guess those kids are having some fun. Or they could be doing it for some reasons other than fun. I would have called the police to report the matter even though it might not be my concern. lol.

It was, but I doubt they find it fun if I decided to throw something at them.. (pity though joking)
Police seem to fail things these days... (they offered to come out but not search for them) these crimes are "minor" but even serious crimes go without the polices support.
Kudos,
~Joey
