Spyware and Malware.

Friends,
Last week I was surfing some sites and suddenly my computer monitor gave me a warning that my computer was infected by the spyware. I continued to work on it for few minutes and then after finishing my surfing, I shut down the computer.
Then the next day I found that my computer was not working properly. It was not having original speed also. Obviously I did not have any protection from spyware in my computer.
Can anyone suggest me some site offering the free download for clearing these spyware? Thanks in advance.

Okay, I haven't read all of the responses yet, so I don't know if I am repeating...but AVG works awesome for me! AVG 7.5 for virus protection and AVG Ant-spyware they are both free and find ones that my McAfee and Norton do not detect. I highly suggest them!

I am already using McAfee. It is useful antivirus however, it could not protect my computer from spyware. So it is not useful as a antispyware.

Yes you are right. Such a thing is experienced by me too. In that event, all you have to do is to log in www.downloads and you will find an array of spyware sites. Select skyboot and it is quite reliable and free. YOu run the spyware and it identifies the bad elements and you can get it remvoed through this program. Good day.

Be careful about downloading free spywares as well. They might have unwanted files attached in them. Make sure they are supported and verified by big names in the industry like Oracle and Verizon.

You should scanned your computer after it has detected a spyware. Do you ever have an anti spyware and anti malware program on your computer? If you do then keep it up to date always have it it delete the spyware automatically for you. If you do not have one yet then better download now. There are tons of softwares out there that detects and removes spywares and malwares. You should try them out now.
