We've been having ice storms here. 2 in a row, most people will stay in even on the weekends, would u go out even if driving was bad?

I hate the winter wether. I live in the mountains and we get lots of snow. So I stay in. I only go out when I need to.

No. I don't even like to go out if it's raining. If I don't have to work then I just stay home if it's bad.

Hi:0 If it is somewhere that i must definitly have to go,then i will test the roads to see if they are really bad then go for it.But if its a place out of town to the nearest city like 1 hour away then i will stay home, light up the firelace and cuddle with my daughter all day, hehe:)Where ever i go,my daughter goes so i do not want to risk her safety because i had an urge to go on an unsafe road.:( Peanutjar:)

I try not to drive in bad weather. It's not my driving I'm worried about, it's the driving of others that scares the mess outta me. If I don't have to go to work and it's bad out, I make a pot of coffee and get on mylot. Smile!!

u rright. some people have no idea how to drive in snow/ice even if they've been living in cold climate for years.

Years ago nothing stopped me, if I had something I had to do or even just wanted to do I did it, bad roads or not. That all changed after I had an accident in the ice. It was just a sheet of black ice and there wasn't a thing I could do - down a hill and into a tree I went! We weren't hurt but the car was a mess and ever since then I've been a real chicken when it comes to driving in bad weather. Annie

I lived in Michigan for 43 of my 45 years. If there is an ice storm I'm staying home. I also always had water ran into jugs. Lots of candles ready. I made sure we had kerosene for the heater and oil in the gas lamps. We were forever losing power. We were quite a bit north of you though.

ok thanks. i think that's what most people will say, they'll go to work if they need to. Some of my buddies go out on the weekends even if the roads are ice. Die-hard partyers, lol. Thnx for the response.
