A Helium Partner Bough One of My Helium Articles

I have been on Helium since August. Since then I have written nearly 150 articles. I took second place in a contest. So, I have made a little money. My goal is to use Helium for a semi passive income. The idea is to get about 2000 articles up and then write one a month. I should be making a nice sum from the pennies my articles make each month. Time will tell since I have a ways to go. This morning I received a message that an article I wrote in September was being bought for $10. Ten bucks isn't much, but since it wasn't a market place article it was a complete surprise. Additionally ten bucks is a lot compared to the pennies I make there each day. So, has anyone else had a publisher buy an article completely unexpected like?

Good for you. I have not been putting as much effort into Helium lately as I would like to. I get discouraged when my article rank drops, or when I have a hard time writing to one title. I know I have to stop letting that hold me back, but I can't help it sometimes. Do you mind my asking, what article was it that was bought? Post a link here if you like, I'd like to see what types of topics people are buying.

Keep working hard. Helium isn't an earn quickly, but over time, it should earn a nice amount of money.

Wow, just the topic I was looking for. My New Year's resolution is to get into a regular schedule of exercise. I don't have money to spend on a gym membership, nor do I have the opportunity to get away regularly. Your article offered some great ideas that I can do not only with little money, but with my son as well. Carrying him on a walk would sure increase the benefits, wouldn't it?

Hey, I missed your question till now. Carrying your son is definitely an added benefit. Just be careful how fast you go (not speed wise, more like how much you do in one day). I know the first time I walked with Marcus I over did it and had a sore back for awhile...

I know this feeling. One of my articles too got selected by a marketplace publisher. I wrote it in August and had almost given up but than in October I got a mail that It was selected and I got paid immediately. I still haven;t reached the 50 article landmark in helium, congrats on writing so many. I really haven't given a long term thought about earning on helium but I will keep writing as long as the topics are interesting enough.
