Have you ever wondered about a lost family memeber?

While growing up I have watched my father wonder who his father was. I have for years looked to every possibitly to finding who his father really is. There may have been more possibilities but we only have one name to go on. I searched all the websites to see who I might find. The name we have is John (Eimy, Amy, Eighmy) we aren't sure of the spelling. My father was born to Eva Cox in December of 1959. The story goes that My grandmother hooked up with a soldier from WPAF base, after they had their little moment he went back to the service and 9 months later my dad was born. His mother passed away when he was 16 before any of us could get a good idea of where to look other than Dayton, Ohio. I was wondering how you feel about looking for a lost family member. Do you have any idea on how to find a person? Are people angry when you try to learn?

With that little information I think it'll be impossible for you to ever know - sorry. But only a name, and a very commen name - that'll be hard to work with.
