My Christmas IS ... I don't know who they are Saying I can't greet the crowd The way that I want to Can't say CHRISTMAS out loud. I walk into a business place See things that I rather not see But dare I not say CHRISTMAS And ask for a "holiday" tree. What happened to freedom of speech And living in the land of the free How can they take my CHRISTMAS money But can't say MERRY CHRISTMAS to me. Men and women have given their lives So we could still go free I wonder how they would feel At saying "HOLIDAY" TREE. Come on ALL let's wake up Don't let freedom escape If they get by with doing this What else will they take. This is starting to get out of hand, And I've begun to keep track Well I've just about had enough I'M TAKING CHRISTMAS BACK. So MERRY CHRISTMAS ALL I hope this gets all over the net If we all stand united and take freedom back 'Twill be our best CHRISTMAS YET!

You go girl! I'm behind you all the way. I say Merry Christmas wether people like it or not,I think they should be happy somebody is wishing them something Merry to begin with. If they want to forbid us from saying Merry Christmas, then they mind as well don't allow Happy Hannukah,Kwanza or whatever else either. Why always pick on christian and western traditions? Merry Christmas Hoghoney!!!

We only have as much freedom as they want us to have and we are only aloud to speak out without getting into to trouble if we speak out about what they want us to. I still wish people Merry Christmas and probably will always. I know it supposedly offends some that we say Merry Christmas because of their beliefs or religions, but we already have to give up so much why something so harmless as the words Merry Christmas? It's just a bunch of nonsense if you ask me. Freedom? What freedom! Yeah our country has more then most do, but in certain circumstances we have none...

We live in on messed up world that I will agree on whole heartedly. I think it should be someones own preferences on the Happy Holiday or Merry Christmas. I think we ahould have the right to express it the way we want without having someone jump down our tonsils about it. I don't want to offend anyone but It has been Merry Christmas for centuries and it was good enough all those years for our ancestors and it should be good enough for us now. Not being able to say Merry Christmas anymore is as stupid a rule as not being able to sell cornflakes in the state of Ohio on Sunday is...Pure rubbish.

Very well put my friend, and I for one respect others with different beliefs and religions and as I see it I am not out trying to stop them from doing or saying what they would so I just dont feel that they should be trying to tell me what I can or cant say. It is like that story about some Santa's is other countrys can not say Ho Ho Ho because it is degreating to woman, WTF! I went to McDonalds the other day thru drive thru and when I paid for my food the girl at the window I knew her and after I paid she said thank you and started to say Merry Christmas but then stopped herself and said Happy Holidays! I just wanted to go into McDonald's and ask the manager what the hell!

Yes, Merry Christmas has been going on long before we all were born. I have been saying and hearing it as far back as I can remember and will say it til I die, and that is my story and I am sticking to it, LOL Hugs!

Your totally right. I think its just like them telling us to take under god out of the pledge. Its what this country was built on. I work at a hospital and i will never say happy holidays. I will always say Merry Christmas.

Way to go, and I agree with you on the hospital, I worked in the Nursing Homes for 10 years and alot of them residents there would not understand what is going on now and days and they look forward so much for christmas and I would never see myself not telling them Merry Christmas. so Merry Christmas to you and your family and may it be filled with a lot of joy and love.
