I miss Green Sauce!

Anyone else miss green sauce? Can you still get it where you live? And what about those yummy olives on the Enchirito? I recently read the Glen Bell Story (the guy who created Taco Bell) It was a good read.

I was a manager at Taco Bell back when they discontinued the green sauce. I never figured out exactly why they did that. I had several unhappy customers when they did discontinue it.

Are you serious? First you could get it as an add on then only in a packet then it was gone altogether. Man that bites I LOVED that stuff.

We were told that it was going to be discontinued about a month before they did it, so we ordered a few extra cases of it. Unfortunately though the shelf life on it is not all that long, unlike the regular sauce packets, so most of it got thrown away. Except my sister took some home with her and put it in her fridge.

That's probably WHY they discontinued it, since the shelf life wasn't too long... Just my guess! You'd think they could add some kind of preservative to remedy that -- they add preservatives to everything else!!

Green sauce is okay, but I prefer their mild sauce or hot sauce. I don't care much for the fire, it's too hot for me. The green sauce is not available in our area, either. I really miss the green onions they used to have. They were really good on nachos!
