Anything! Thats one of the best parts of the city. It's so diverse. There is tons of versatility between people and their styles and thats not only accepted but its expected. Wear whatever makes you feel comfortable! That's whats important. There are so many places to go, so many things to see.... just dress warm!

it's a bit like summer somewhere in the islands down south of this country but i can always bring you to cold places up north ( not that snow cold though just cool breeze, cool enough to brush your cheeks :-)

Well I think you should go out and buy yourseld a beautiful evening dress, not a cheap one, a real nice sparkly number, a nice new pair of shoes and evening bag, go and have your hair done, maybe have a compete make over and a massage, and at 7 pm on News Years Eve your birthdays a pink limo will pull up in front of your place, and Russell Crowe has been booked to take you to dinner..

wow birthday on new years' eve? everyone will be celebrating one way or another so if you go out it'll seem like everyone is celebrating your birthday. you could just imagine that.
well, if i were to take a friend out on new years' eve it'd be to mingle with the crowd in London's trafalgar's square at the countdown for half an hour, then hiding at home far from the madding crowd for the rest of the evening and early dawn. :)
