Please make sure you tell him what you feel and how you feel about him.
Start with being friends first then after you have known each other you can tell him how much you love him. Maybe he also loves you the same way but he cant get the courage to tell you.

Have you told him this? Anyways, I also find telling how I feel to someone, but I do let him feel and show how important he is in my life. I guess, I am an actions-speaks-louder-than-words person. :)
