Until a couple months ago, chocolate has played a HUGE role in my life. I was your typical chocoholic. I first would like to encourage you to continue enjoying it while you can!
I heard chocolate is really good for your heart because it keeps the arteries clear. How true that is, I'm not sure. However, my grandpa is a chocoholic who's in his early 80s and has never had a heart problem whatsoever.
I also heard chocolate is a great appetizer. I'd always eaten it before and after meals without ever having a problem of not being hungry for the meal.
Like you, if I eat a whole chocolate candy bar or a bunch of chocolate on an empty stomach, sometimes I would feel sick.
Overall, I've heard chocolate is more good than bad. It can relieve stress and keep a person from getting depressed. It can be very relaxing.
In my case, it's now very bad. Let me share with you my "sob story" (lol). A couple months ago is when I found out I'm allergic to cocoa, which is the main ingredient in chocolate. I was really sad and depressed when I found out. However, my allergist told me I can still eat chocolate. Although I may experience discomfort at times, chocolate won't kill me.
The moral of my story would be, enjoy chocolate while you can! My hypothesis is that because I was a chocoholic, that is why I became allergic to it. I can still enjoy it, though.
So in answering your question, the only bad thing chocolate can really do to you in give you a sugar rush. Don't try to stop eating it because you know you want it!

I also love chocolates. Dairymilk of cadburries are my favorite. I also like chocobars very much. Another thing I like very much is icecreams. I do not know if chocolates lower cholesterol. I wish it would lower cholesterol. I think most grownups likes chocolates like children.
