Why does everyone assume that ebooks can only be read on a PC, I read mine on a PDA. I have it with me all of the time and can pull out anyone of 40 or 50 books that I can read no matter where I am - at work, standing in line, at the doctors office, stuck in traffic. I am restricted by weight or size. I love reading on my PDA.

It's really a good idea! With a PDA,one can be liberated from PC,and can read wherever he or she is.Obviously,it is very convinient.I don't have a PDA,but i have a e-dictionary.It can be used as a reading machine as well.It is just as small sa paw, so i can take it with me anywhere.

I prefer real books because I don't like to read at pc for a lot of time. Real books are beautiful for a present, too. It's not very beautiful t give an e-book as a present.

I see a lot of people saying books are the best but I can't see the difference, reading is reading, I think sometimes it is just a matter of some people not liking change.

I prefer the reading books.First, pages are more convenient for us to read, you know e-book need alway us to get the"next page"button. Second, reading books protect our eyes, especially for long time reading, isn't it? Third, reading books make me more enjoyable and feel I am really reading at that time, but e-books make me feel funny or just for entertainment sometimes.

Well, to some degree these two can't be compared. First, i have to say e-book and real book are two different things. Real book can't be replaced by e-book coz real book has something more than just words. E-book personally i think is just a new platform.

Yes, e-books are getting popular but hard copies are still very much better. We cannot bring the computer wherever we go while the printed copy can easily be carried and read anywhere. And it's really tiring to be staring at the computer reading so many things.

I like the concept of e-books because anything and everything is available at your fingertips and that too without costing anything. But if reading a novel then I prefer a real book because i can read it wherever i want and even while reclining, sitting or lying flat on my bed. This is what i like about reading a real book and that is why I would prefer real books to e-books.

I prefer the real books since I can read it anywhere I want to and is handy. You can even have them while you are toilet. Or your in bed lying or any place you choose to read the book. E-books doesn't seem interesting to me. I don't like staring in the screen much and I can't read it anywhere. Provided theres a laptop...but its battery doesn't last that long. And it's nice to see books line up in shelves as well.

Well, personally i prefer hard copy i.e. books over the new e-books.The reason being that since i am a computer science engineering student i have to spend a lot of time in front of my computer and my eyes yearns for some rest....I don't want to aggravate my eye problem by reading e-books. But at the same time they do offer undistinguished advantages over the conventional books. You can easily search any matter in the book in the wink of an eye. Moreover they are mostly free!!

I love books, and for me it won't matter whether it's a real book or an ebook as long as it's contents interest me.

I much prefer a real life book! I love my computer though but I wouldn't wanna waste that much ink and paper to print out a ebook. I'd just buy the real thing.

I think real books are better than e-books. Then, after reading them, you can keep them and you can take them out several years later. Of course, you can touch them. Of course, a coin has two sides. You can save money by downloading e-books.

I like reading real books than e-books. One of the reason I like reading real books is that most times I like reading in an releaxed atmostphere while lying in my bed. Also, there is less strain while reading real books. One of the problems with e-books is that you cann't read them like you read the real books. You have to look into the computer and to look at a long distance occasionally to give rest to the eyes.
