I have tried to keep a diary many times in my life, but I have not been able to do so consistently for any period of time. I have always considered myself a writer, but a journal is a different. I often feel self-conscious about writing about myself, even though I know that there is great value in doing so. A journal is a powerful tool for self observation and can help learn about one's self in ways that are not possible or are much more difficult otherwise.

I have tried doing this on occasions but have found myself frustrated. I don't have one now. I do write down important things on computer these days. Things such as birthdays are recorded and backed up. For important events, I just write them on a prominenntly displayed piece of paper. I usually find that my memory for these things is pretty good, and I have not often forgotten anyting of moderate or higher importance.

I had a personal diary when I was ten years old. Now I haven't a personal diary, but I like to write poems. I have some copybooks with my poems and when I read them it's like to read a personal diary because each poem contains some feelings to remember.

Yes, i do. When i was elementary school we were asked to keep diaries as asssignment, at first i didn't like this at all and only kept a few lines. But later when i had written about almost a notebook and our teacher asked us to read what we had written down. I suddenly found happiness in keeping diaries. After entering junior middle school, i began to keep diaries in English which did great help to my English learning. And now i also do keep a diary but this time it was in Japanese coz my major is Japanese.

I used to. When I was in high school, I had an English teacher that I worked with and told that I wanted to be a journalist. She suggested to me that I keep a journal so that I could practice my writing everyday; it was an exercise in writing in general, but also in remembering details about my day or learning to write descriptively. Nowadays, I don't do so anymore. In college I kept a Xanga page, but I no longer keep up with it... not enough time.

I don't have any personal dairy, but I do have my personal blog where I post my experiences, my activities, my sharing of pictures, videos, my reviews and everything there. And it has been about three months since I started writing my blog. I think writing a dairy, or a blog is good. You know how to place the words exactly, and you have good writing. I was also interviewed by TPS, because of my blog. They liked it, I guess :) I don't do much of the things in my life, my days are pretty dull, but some of them are bright. I write about those bright days :) Hope that helps :) My blog address is, in case if you like to read it. http://mujtabachang.blogspot.com

Hi,there! Well,I do have my personal diary.I think it's a good way to express my feelings somehow.Though I have this habit,I don't update it every night.I write when I really wanna write sth or when I really need to.I take it as a very cold friend that I could trust totally.I write down things that happened to me and my thoughts as well as feelings:) I think it's a good way to let things out and adjust oneself.I used to write it almost every day when I was young, but now it just depends on the situation and my emotion. Thanks for the discussion and have a nice day^_^

If something usual, I will record it in my personal diary, generally speaking, I do not like to record something, things happened in our life, we can record them in our memory, they are not nessary to record in our dairy. Diary is a secret garden to everybody, deep in memory, nobody can touch it.

I used to have diary long before. I used to write diary every day at night about the things I have done and the people I have met before I sleep. I do not write diaries now a days. I used to keep my personal diaries hidden from everyone. Sometimes I go through the personal diaries to see what I have written. Now a days I do not have any personal diary.

I have a diary, but i use it to record bill payments and appointments ect, If I wish to do a personal day to day summary, I, like most people now have a blog and put it on there, its easier and not something you feel that you have to do on a daily basis. I have 2 blog site, but recently have shut one down and stuck with the ever popular myspace. As all my friends have my space and we use it to see what each other is doing. I think its good to have a diary and if you use it on a daily basis that's great. But its not my thing. Have a good day

Honestly I started a diary many times in my life but never continued. I tend to write when there's something good or bad happening in my life and then slowly I stop until the nest thing happens. I think I started writing on my first diary when I was about 14.

I tried to keep a diary and whether it is a physical diary or online diary (blog), i will end up neglecting it after sometimes. LOL! Due to that, I have stopped writing any entry into any diary or personal blog. I do have some blogs but I update them as and when I feel like it. Cheers!

I don't have a personal diary but I do have personal blog. I want to share some of my experiences to other people because who knows if through your personal experiences there is one person that you've helped a lot by realizing some points of life. I've been writing on personal blog since december of last year and I'm proud to say that on December 30th of this year I'm officially blogging for a year.
