what is your most favourite part of christmas?

For me is gathering together with my family and friends and sharing the food. Praying for the birth of our saviour Jesus Christ and the salvation he has given us.

It's all about the Christmas attitude. And most people around here have it right now. I would love for people to retain this cheer all year round, but for now I just want to enjoy it.

I love the way strangers will smile at you when you notice them looking in your direction and you wish them a happy holiday and tell them what a lovely smaile they have.. I love the way kids whisper over secret presents they are making. I love that look of wonder when a young child sees their first Christmas tree with the lights on in the dark. I love the extra hugs and kisses I will recieve from my loved ones. I love the way my friend Cher gets excited and starts all of these Christmas discussions! xoxoxoxoxoxo

I agree,I love the lights. It makes everything so beautiful. I really love the lights when we have a nice blanket of snow on the ground. I also love the music and getting together with family and friends.

It would have to be the food, the atmosphere, the holidays, the snow and obviously dinner with loved ones.... I don't really care about gifts though as they are not as important as family....but hey, need to make somebody happy in this joyous season....that means have to spend some money on gifts :D

For me it is all about my kids. I love watching them get excited about the tree, lights, presents, Santa. I guess its all about the anticipation. Christmas just makes me happy!

I like all of it except the shopping. There is a fair grounds that we go to that has lights. Its really cute. They have lots of the cool ones that are action ones. Plus there are litte shops that sell candys and shops that sell crafts. They have a bonfire too.

Preparing food might be tiring but I enjoy it. Wrapping gifts too. I sometimes tell other people that I will do the wrapping. But most of all I enjoy the eating time while listening to music. Which lighthens up my mood always and the people's laughters.

i like the shopping part. Gonna start this weekend. Though it will be tiring trying to get gifts but i will be all worth it to trying to get the perfect gift

I love all of those thing you mentioned, and try to add new things to our traditions every year. The only thing I don't like about Christmas is the humbugs... we know some people who stay alone, won't come to dinner when we invite them, don't want any presents...and then they gripe about nobody caring for them all the rest of the year!

Advance Merry Christmas cher913! I almost like everything we do every Christmas. The things you have mentioned actually brightens up my soul. It is the time of year when my family and relatives have a get-together. I mean, we take our dinner together and discuss a lot of things about life especially about the yuletide season. The Christmas carols are so pleasing to the ears. The shopping and of course exchanging of gifts are great! I do appreciate it a lot ;-) And most of all, what I like most is the dawn masses. I mean, I have this habit of completing the nine mornings. I just love the feeling of waking up so early just to attend the mass and complete the nine mornings for a wish. I love spending time with my family at Christmas. To me it's about family not presents but I have to admit I do love watching my sons face as he opens his presents and plays with him. I love looking at the Christmas lights that are put up around my town as well. I always feel that Christmas is closer when I go to the shops and can smell mangos. To me the smell of mangos means Christmas is coming.

X'mas, a lot of people in the chuch, in the shop, on the street. so this year I am going to other city with my lover, there are quiet village and little bar. quickly, quickly, quickly X'mas.

My favorite part is going to Church on Christmas morning and singing the carols that make Christmas so special....then coming home to watch my little granddaughter open her gifts...and everyone else's!

i like the christmas carol, the big xmas tree, different color, christmas light and of course the family gather we exchange gift we are all happy and surprise kids are dancing and laughing when they open their gifts its very nice to watch them:-)

well cher what i like most is to go out at malls and see the preparation of x-mas being done,i do even often help neighbors for x-mas preparations,such as decorating trees,house,stuff and all,well thats what i do for x-mas,anyways will remain in touch with ya.

I love Christmas because I get to see it through the eyes of my daughter. She is so excited about this time of year! I also like having time off with my family, and the feeling of it being such a special time of year. I love the time of reflection that is possible with a few days off as well. I enjoy the religious aspect, and attending Christmas services as well. In short, it is a great time of year!

Reading the Christmas story reflecting my Jesus was born for could shed His blood at Calvary to set me free Plus also spending time with family .

favorite part of christmas is by far spending it with my family and close friends.. they mean the world to me and have helped me through some pretty hard times... we always have the huge dinners and the food is amazing..
