My husbands Surgery Update.........

We chose to drive to Topeka on the 10th and halfway there we got a call that the surgeries for the 11th were all canceled due to impending Ice Storm. We rescheduled for Monday the 17th. We are so grateful that the call came and surgery was postponed as the Ice storm did indeed hit us. We were without power part of the 11th and 12th. The hospital in our town is on generator power. Tree branches are down all over town and it is bad everywhere in our state and in all counties around us. My brother has a tree that fell on his roof and my daughter has a tree on her carport. Many here have been without power for over 48 hours now. Luckily we were only our for 15 hours. Hubby is doing ok and staying down and quiet and using the pain meds. I am glad they caught us before we got a motel for that night. Then we'd be without that money. I will not ask for prayer for us at this time as many, many here need your prayers for heat and safety.
