Play time

Do you actually play WITH you child(ren) or FOR them? Today my son wanted me to put together a train track with him and I love to do that stuff becuase him asserting hs independance has already started so I've gotta hold on to every little bit. But I would take off peices that he put on becuase I was building it for him instead of with him. I was dumb founded by my own actions. Just watch yourself next time you are playing and see which one you actually do.

I play with my son quite often.
He likes to get everyone involved to play with his toys together.
He plays with them on his own too, but he enjoys it alot more when me or Joey join in.
He likes us to play with his cars with him and play with his musical toys too.
Its nice to see kids have fun playing with their parents.
We often take our son to the park, he likes us to play football with him on the park even on cold and rainy days.

I am not married and do not have children, but I do play with small kids when I can. This helps me to forget all my tensions and make me feel like I am a child once more. Most times when we play with our children we come very happy and smiles and we forget all our work tensions and other tensions that we have. I think it is a good thing to play with the children. Another thing I would love to do is watching cartoons in the television. Tom and Jerry is still my favorite cartoons. Sometimes these cartoons helps to forget and helps to laugh like a child.
