Yeah the youngest lost interest after the first part. But the others really enjoyed it along with me. Great!

I saw it and it is another persons version of the Wizard of Oz. Honestly I think it is fine for kids to see. I have kids ages from 12-3 and I would let them watch. Whether they would understand is another story.
I really enjoyed it and want to watch it again.

Thanks I have three children 12, 8 and 6. I was thinking the story line may be hard for my 6 year old to follow too. Thanks for the information. :) Vicki

My dad was telling me about this movie. He said it was really good. I dont like the wizard of oz so I dont think I would like it. He said he was taping it so I will have to watch and see. I really dont know if its ok for children to watch. Maybe older kids.

I loved the Tin Man. It is the take off of the wizzard of oz. It is dark but not bloody. I do not remember what age your children are. I do beleive someone the age of 10 and above could see it. I think 13 or older would have a better time following the story line. My husband had a heck of a time flowing the story I did not.

I have seen it. It would depend on the age of the child. (in my opinion) My four year old watched for maybe 10 minutes. Was a bit too violent for her. It is in 3 parts. Take the story Seperate from the Wizard of Oz. It has very little in common with the original story. There are references to it, but that's all. Most movies that come out on the Scifi channel I don't bother with. Not worth the time. This was entertaining.Would be ok for most teens. Just not the little ones. Again only my opinion.

Thanks I was kinda thinking not for young ones. I never see anything on Sci Fi channel as it isn't usually stuff I like to watch. I will check it out though. Thanks

I haven't seen it yet but I intend to. It's funny how when the Wizard of Oz was shown every year on TV when I was growing up it was accepted as a "children's classic" but now some people think it isn't appropriate for small kids. As far as the SciFi channel, I enjoy many of their original movies; they're sometimes a bit "out there" but they're entertaining if you don't expect too much depth!

We watched the first one last night and we all wanted to keep going but it would be too late. We can't wait to watch the rest. It kept all my children interested. Thanks
