Today we Celebrate St.Lucia Day!

I love St. Lucia Day. Is this winter wheat and where do you seed it? As you may know I am an avid consumer of wheat grass juice and used to "grow my own" but now I buy it online and it is shipped down from Canada in adorable little frozen cubes. I still grow a little pot of wheat on the window sill, however, whenever it is practical to do so, and often snip the tips off to add to various foods...such as cornbread pancakes or soup, just to add a bit of color and extra nutrition. Of course, if there is a cat in the house, they like to nibble on such things, too. What do you do with your wheat?
