cremation

While at work we were discussing being cremated. Someone stated that they wanted their body cremated and made into a diamond for their children to wear. Is this something that you would do or do you think it is very disgusting? I could not imagine having this done.

I have known alot of people that have been cremated and the ashes kept and sometimes worn in little glass viles around the neck. I have never heard of being made into a diamond but if that is the wish and the children are willing then so be it.
The weirdest thing I have seen is a friend of mine whose wife passed. She was cremated and part of the ash was used to make a tattoo of her on his back.
Me I want to be cremated and have my ashes spead to the wind since I do not want to be fettered top this world.
