Like most of us during the month of December we don't have a lot of time
to prepare a good hot meal for our family so I have put some slow cooker (Crock Pot)
recipes on my blog for all who like to use their slow cooker as a means of keeping our family full and happy without having to do a lot of work. After all who wants to stand in a kitchen and cook after a long day of shopping? I sure don't! Tomorrow I will be adding more so take advantage of them and put your feet up and rest. These are healthy low-carb recipes anyone can eat. And for those of you who asked for some recipes other than Chicken, I put some good pork recipes on there too.
Happy Holidays

thanks for the link!
If I can make a request - do you have more recipes that are also very low sodium? I know there are many diabetics out there who also have high blood pressure or other issues and I have trouble finding diabetic recipes that are low sodium or low sodium recipes that are diabetic. My husband is diabetic but also can only have 300 mg per sodium per meal.

Some of these recipes are low in sodium or they can be
adapted to fit your requirements. Try using sea salt
instead of table salt. I hear this works pretty good
for those who are on a low sodium diet.
I will look up sea salt and let you know if it can be
used in these recipes. There is also a low sodium salt
you can purchase at almost any store. I think it is named
Mrs. Dash.
I just added some more slow cooker recipes so maybe you can check them out.
I hope this helps.

Today, Mrs. Dash® Seasoning Blends are available in 13 different varieties that add flavor to foods - everything from seafood to salad and meat to mixed vegetables.
Here is some info I found about Mrs.Dash and a photo of all their seasoning.
Original Blend, Garlic & Herb, Table Blend, Extra Spicy, Onion & Herb, Lemon Pepper, Italian Medley, Tomato Basil Garlic, Southwest Chipotle, Steak Grilling Blend, Chicken Grilling Blend, Mesquite Grilling Blend and Hamburger Grilling Blend.
The salt-free flavor is also available in Mrs. Dash® 10-Minute Marinades in 6 varieties: Zesty Garlic Herb, Lemon Herb Peppercorn, Mesquite Grille, Southwestern Chipotle, Spicy Teriyaki and Garlic Lime.
These non-sulfited herbs and spices are salt-free, all-natural with no MSG.

thanks, we use mrs. dash, but sometimes some foods inherently have sodium in the naturally that one can't avoid even when you don't add salt. I will look into your recipes again. :)

That's what a lot of people do...put it up and forget it!
I keep mine on the counter and use it often.
It makes all cuts of meat tender and it sure beats standing over the stove cooking.
It took me a little over a year to get my Mom to use one but she uses it quiet often now that she sees how easy they are to use. She is 91 and lives alone so she still cooks for herself. She can prepare a whole meal in one. She has taught me a thing or two about using a slow cooker.

I love to use the crock-pot. I use it a lot on the weekends since I work 12 hours a day on Saturday and Sunday. I'm heading over to your blog to check them out. Thanks for sharing them.

I hope you can use the ones I have on this blog. I have tried them and they are very tasty. I do sometimes leave out or add a little ingredient to change the taste. Like the garlic...If it doesn't taste good the first time I try one I try it again and leave out the garlic or just add less.

I am hardly ever too busy to cook but, when I know I am going to be gone all day (hardly ever) I do just like you. I use the crock pot. You have some really good crock pot recipes on your blog!

Thanks Girlgonefishing
You may want to visit this blog often during the month of December
because I will be adding more of these slow cooker recipes for a while.
I fixed one of the pork recipes yesterday just so I could stay on the
Internet longer. It was delicious.
