I've been watching the commercials for this movie and it's one that I definitely want to see. The funny thing is that it reminds me of my little (45 years old..lol) brother because he loved their Christmas song when he was a kid. The movie looks like it's going to be cute and for me at least will bring back a lot of memories.
Are you planning on seeing the movie? I think it's going to be a great holiday movie to take the kids to don't you?

I guess when I mentioned this movie it was too long ago because I think I got like 2 responses and now I see all these people writing about it now. I probably won't see it in the theaters, but I do really want to see it. I loved the Chipmunks when I was little and I LOVE Jason Lee.

I actually did a search before I wrote this but nothing came up...unless I missed it somehow or spelled something wrong...hmmm. anyway....I also love Jason Lee and that's a plus to the movie for me.

I think MyLots search feature sucks and you have to be super specific. If you did a search simply for "Chipmunks" you wouldn't find it, but if you did a search for "Alvin and the Chipmunks" you'd find it. and in neither of those searches would this discussion even come up. it's a crappy search feature.

I don't mind that you posted a similar discussion that I posted about 4 months ago! Ha ha. I just think it's funny that I posted the same thing 4 months ago and got hardly any responses. and now people will post it and since it's actually coming out people will actually respond. I posted it simply based on the teaser trailers, cause I watch trailers all the time for movies that aren't coming out till months from now.
It's funny how peoples minds work on mylot.

I agree, I think this movie looks great! I am 20 years old and will probably take my 5 year old cousin to see this movie on their winter break. Because each year I take each of my younger cousins to see their own special movie at the movie theatre. Plus, I think this will not only be a great movie for him, but for me as well. I think it is going to be cute, silly, and better than cat in the hat by far.:)

I think the movie looks great. I really want to see it and so does my daughter. The theater is out of our budget though. We will have to wait and rent it. My kids had a whole tape of The Chipmunks sing the Carols. We all loved it.

The price they ask to get into the theatre is ridiculous I agree and you know it will be on DVD and eventually on tv so your little girl will get to see it eventually. I also love their christmas songs and always did.

I probably won't see the movie right away, ctry, but I might order it later. I also used to love the antics of the Chipmunks. I've seen the trailers and it looks like it's going to be hilarious. Nearly everyone in my school used to go around singing The Chipmunk Song, LOL.

I used to love the chipmunks when I was a kid... I am really looking forward to the movie. I cant wait to watch it with my kids!!! :-)

I think as many adults are looking forward to this movie as kids are. I know even my brother is and his teenage daughter isn't even interested...lol.

It sounds like a really funny movie, but I won't go to see it, because I've always found the high pitch tone o their oices to be annoying. I have really sensitive hearing, so it's not a personal annoyance, rather that their voices actually inflict pain on my ears.

I have never really been a fan of the Chipmunks actually and come to think of it neither have my kids so there isnt any interest in this house to see the movie at all..

I would really like to see that movie but i know my husband would not want to go with me,he would think it was silly and a kid movie.If i go with one of my friends then i might go to see it.I sometimes go with my girl friends to things that he does not like to go to..If i don't get to go with one of my friends then i will wait until it comes out on DVD, but i will go if i can.I do plan to see the movie though either way.

Most definitely. My son wants to see it too. My hubby downloaded some of the chipmunk songs to a cd and we play it in the car a lot of the time. My son sings along with them too :)

I used to watch the chipmunks when i was little and haven't seen them since anymore.
I hope the movie comes also out in my country then i definately want to see it.
I always loved the chipmunks so maybe if im lucky.

It always makes me laugh when I see the commercial for the movie. I am going to see it with my son. We were talking about this movie last night when my son asked my if I remember watching Alvin and the Chipmmunks when they were on TV. Of course I do.:)

OMG! my daughter would lovvvee that movie!!!. but she is only 2 so i doubt that we will go to the movie theatre to see it but when it comes out on dvd i will most likley get it for her and mkae it a movie night:D...
