Getting To know them

As most of you know I just moved a while ago and finally I am comfortable with myself in my new situation to go out and meet new people. I've met this one family and I get along with them all really well. But I can't seem to really break the ice with the wife who's my age and I know that we would have a great time hanging out together. Does anyone have any tips to try? Do you find it hard to make friends too? Thanks

I think you just need to take time and always be pleasant but I have found these days there is a lot of women these days that don't want to get too friendly with other women and also there are a lot of people who just like to keep neighbours at fence distance, it doesn't seem the same as years ago....
