I have been using myspace.com for a couple of years now. It's been a wonderful tool that I use a lot to keep up with my friends and to find friends that I haven't seen in years. I was wondering how many of you use myspace and how you like it?

I use MySpace.com, and it's addicting. I have had mine since November of 2005 and no matter what I try, I can't get rid of it. Not saying I want to, of course, it's an amazing way to meet new people in your area or across the world. Overall, it's an impressive website.

You're absolutely right. I am going to be moving across country from Nevada to Georgia after the first of the year. My family is back there and we want to be closer to them. I don't know anyone back there and I've gone on myspace and searched out people in the area. So far I've met some really nice people and I'm sure that I'll have friends when I get there. I'm a lot more eager to move as a result!

I use myspace too, although I'm not as active on it as a lot of people. I mostly just use it to keep up with some of my friends who I don't get to see much anymore. It is definitely useful for getting back in contact with people you've lost touch with. My husband has really used it a lot to renew some friendships with people he hadn't talked to in forever until recently. I get frustrated with all the spam that I get on myspace, but it definitely has some major benefits too. :)

You know, you can adjust your privacy settings in your account settings to keep your spam down. I used to get a lot of that too, but since I went in and changed a few of my settings I get little to none.

I use myspace I have to say that i am not that impressed with it, i have had my account for a couple of years ago and to be honest i am still a bit unsure to what it is you can do on there. I use Facebook and i think that i much pefer to use that one instead my myspace, to me it does seem a lot easier to use.

No, I don't use it a lot. Myspace.com don't pay their members. If they are willing to pay their members like myLot.com, I'll use myspace.com.

It's not ABOUT being paid, it's a communications and networking tool. Not everything is about getting paid, you know. Some people want to actually keep in touch with real friends.

I use to go on it alot to talk my friends, but for a while i've avoided it. It has alot of bugs and errors on it, they don't seem to be updating it or sorting out the problems as much as they use to. The main reason i don't use it much anymore is because it has become too popular and has alot of people i wouldn't ever want to talk to on it. I 1st stopped going on it because it had a bug on it that whenever i tryed to log in it disconnected my internet connection and i had to reset it everytime. Without the multiple errors and annoying people it would be a nice place to go back to. ~joeys wife

Hmm.... I haven't had any problems like that. That doesn't sound like something that would be caused by myspace itself, more like a virus you might have picked up, maybe reacting to the web site that it's programed to, I dunno though. Either way, I love it.

Some of my friends have profiles on MySpace, and others are here on MyLot. The rest of us just keep in touch via e-mail, because not all are comfortable being on public social networking websites such as this, for arious reasons.
