I have been on Yaz for two months now and have skipped my period for the second month in a row. Is that supposed to happen with this brand? I didn't think so. I know I am not pregnant.

Yaz, or certain other forms of birth control, are monophasic meaning they are the same level of hormones through the pack. If you skip the placebo pills, or the last 7 of the pack, and go right into a new pack, you will skip your period. It's great not having one every month. They get in the way of everything!

I didn't skip the placebo pills though. I have been taking them as prescribed faithfully. I did start to have some spotting yesterday.
