A friend of mine wondered if I knew how long you were supposed to wait after giving birth to a baby via a cesarean before getting pregnant again. I wasent sure and wondered what other peoples doctors told them when they had a c-section. A friend of mine told me once when she had a c-section that her doctor would only allow her to have 2 children beause they dont want to do more then 2 c-sections on someone. I thought that was kind of weird and wondered also if anyones doctor ever said anything about that to them.

You can have intervals of two years in between birth and you can have up to five CS but if your uterus is thin upon reopening, better have ligation afterwards s that you wont have risk of uterine rupture.

C Section or natural birth, my Dr told me either way it is best to wait around 2 years between kids because being pregnant & giving birth is so very strenuous on the body & that is the main thing that needs the most recovery time.
Some Dr's are weird about doing too many C Sections because it is major surgery & the more you have, the weaker your internals get - if a Dr did too many, your internals could become so weak that they wouldn't be able to put you back together (they have to cut in basically the same place each time). I think the Dr's here are ok with doing 3 but some will only do 2. I guess it depends on the Dr really & maybe where you are (country i mean).
It's probably a little weird to hear it but i guess only a Dr that actually performs them is going to know what goes on inside, as to how many are safe without there being complications & chances of tears/breakages to the internal stitching.
